Within the framework of implementing the chamber’s program for the year 2023, and considering the importance of the enterprise in all its forms in supporting local, regional, and national economic and social growth, an annex of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services of the Guelmim-Oued Noun region was inaugurated on October 30, 2023, starting from 3 pm. This focused on the first axis of free training sessions related to simplified accounting for small and medium-sized enterprises. This training was supervised by Professors Bousta Abdel Salam and Brahim El Kahia, with the participation of more than fifty attendees in addition to the chamber’s staff.

In an effort to support small and medium-sized businesses and also enhance measures associated with their competitive capacity, the chamber’s annex in Tan-Tan hosted the second axis of free training sessions on effective payment methods for businesses. This was attended by more than seventy beneficiaries, in addition to the chamber’s staff and its advisor, Mr. Khalid Watash. The training was overseen by Professor Akren Abdelhadi from Al Qadi Ayyad University in Marrakech.

In line with its annual program for 2023, the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services of Guelmim-Oued Noun recently organized free training sessions for the region’s entrepreneurs and traders on the following topics: • Public contracts • Effective payment methods for businesses • Simplified accounting for very small businesses.

The meetings held in various cities of the region saw the attendance of Chamber members and executives and a large influx of entrepreneurs and traders who expressed their great need for such events and their significant role in supporting and enhancing their services. Participants also expressed their gratitude to the Chamber and the importance of these courses. Interaction and discussion sessions saw valuable participation from attendees, in an atmosphere of communication and sharing of ideas and opinions on the topics discussed. Additionally, participants proposed topics to be considered for inclusion in upcoming training sessions. The training sessions held at the Chamber annex in Tan-Tan, from October 30, 2023, to November 3, 2023, covered topics such as:

Simplified accounting for medium, small, and emerging businesses, presented and facilitated by professors Abdel-Salam Boucht and Professor Ibrahim Elkahia,
Effective payment methods for businesses, presented and facilitated by Professor Abdelhadi Krin,
Public contracts, presented and facilitated by Professors Toufiq Al-Rashidi and Mouha Eidyaan. The closing day of these training sessions saw the usual full attendance of young entrepreneurs, project holders, and researching students. The event started at 3:00 PM, with the presence of Mr. Nasser Akensh, Vice President of the Chamber, Mr. Ahmed Bouchaab, Chamber Treasurer, and Mr. Khalid Wattash, Chamber Advisor, in addition to the annex director, his staff, and over seventy participants.

The purpose of the last training, which comes within the activation of the Chamber’s program for the current year, was to simplify and explain the contents of the current innovations related to the public procurement law, ensuring that the Chamber’s members and professionals, in general, are fully aware of the details and intricacies associated with participating in tender requests. Given the significant and positive interaction of the participants with the valuable content presented by the speakers, the training sessions concluded by presenting appreciation and participation certificates to the attendees. The final session was also marked by a commemorative group photo in the seminar and presentation hall, hoping for another meeting in a future occasion.
