As a result of the provocations and barbaric practices of the opponents of territorial unity, with which our country has dealt, thanks to the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Armed Forces, with responsibility, wisdom and foresight to ensure the defense of lasting national rights, Mr. Lahoucine Alayoua, President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services Guelmim Oued Noun, on the morning of Saturday, December 5, 2020, accompanied by the presidents of professional chambers of commerce, industry and services in Morocco, visiting the border post of El Guergarat after the successful military operation conducted by the Moroccan army on the orders of His Majesty King Mohammed VI that God glorify him following the unacceptable provocations of Polisario militias in the region.
In a statement by Mr. Lahoucine Alayoua, President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services Guelmim Oued Noun, the Presidents of the Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Services of Morocco announced their firm stand behind His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander Chief of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, to defend the stability and security of the nation, and territorial integrity.
They also affirmed their full and unconditional support to the Royal Armed Forces and diplomatic bodies, as well as soldiers at the borders, in defending the unity of the homeland and preserving the sovereignty and stability of the country.
In the same statement, the presidents of the chambers expressed their strong condemnation of all violations and provocations committed by the Polisario Front’s separatist militias at the el Guergarat post, their criminal attacks against members of the Moroccan community in France, as well as their attacks against the Moroccan Consulate in Valencia, Spain.
He also called on the presidents of the chambers to take all necessary measures to ensure the viability of the movement at the post of el Guergarat and expressed their strong and absolute support for the autonomy initiative that our country has presented to the United Nations as a realistic and credible solution to resolve this conflict, especially with the impossibility of implementing the referendum proposal demanded by the separatist front.
At the end of the declaration, the presidents of the chamber called on all political parties, trade unions and civil society to join forces and mobilize at the national and international levels to defend our primary national cause. They also called on all members of the Moroccan community abroad to face all the maneuvers and lies of the enemies of our territorial integrity. The reactions of friendly countries supporting the cause of our territorial integrity were also noted.
The visit ended with the lifting of a letter of loyalty to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, in which the presidents and members of Morocco’s Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Services expressed their continued loyalty to the glorious Alaouite throne, and their willingness to sacrifice themselves to accomplish any measure taken by His Majesty to preserve the unity of the nation, and maintain its security and stability.
