On the sidelines of the “Enterprise Week” organized by the Moroccan Enterprise Agency, in partnership with the Council of the region and the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Guelmim Oued Noun, the provinces of the region from 4 to 7 February 2020 hosted a series of awareness meetings and training workshops for the benefit of project holders and entrepreneurs in the region.
The event was marked by the signing of a partnership agreement between the National Agency for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises (ANPME), represented by its Director General, Mr. Ibrahim Arjdal, and the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Guelmim Oued Noun, in the person of its President, Mr. The aim is to strengthen entrepreneurial initiative and support the competitiveness of businesses in the region by providing support for the benefit of business leaders, self-entrepreneurs and project holders.
In addition, for four days, the Chamber’s headquarters in Guelmim, its branch in Tantan and the headquarters of some other external services hosted a very large number of entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized enterprises and self-entrepreneurs, who took part in a series of training and awareness-raising workshops on various topics related to the entrepreneurial field.
The meetings, which were held in the provinces of Guelmim and Tantan throughout the week, included awareness-raising workshops on the auto-entrepreneur system and support programmes provided by the banks for businesses, as well as acceleration programmes for innovative start-ups and digital integration, and a basic programme for very small enterprises, in addition to offering value propositions regarding support and backing for programmes provided by the National Agency for the benefit of industrial development projects.
The “enterprise week” also made a stopover in Sidi Afani and Asa Zak to bring project holders, entrepreneurs, cooperatives and self-entrepreneurs in the region to take advantage of the programmes provided by the agency to promote enterprise at the level of Guelmim Oued Noun.
This week was marked by the presence of a large number of visitors who flocked to the headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services in Guelmim Oued Noun, as well as an efficient contribution from a large number of academic and banking institutions as well as civil society bodies in the different provinces of the region.
