Guelmim-Oued Noun Chamber: Enhancing Investment and Sustainable Development at the Tan-Tan Festival Investment Symposium

The Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services for the Guelmim-Oued Noun region participated in the symposium organized on the sidelines of the Tan-Tan Festival, focusing on investment opportunities in the Guelmim-Oued Noun region. In his opening speech, Mr. Lahoucine Alayoua, President of the Chamber, expressed his heartfelt condolences to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, and to all members of the royal family on the passing of Princess Lalla Latifa, may she rest in peace. He also thanked the attendees and emphasized the importance of the meeting in enhancing investment and sustainable development in the Guelmim-Oued Noun region.

Mr. Alayoua praised the achievements in infrastructure and renewable energy, highlighting the importance of investments as strategic partnerships to improve the standard of living in the region. He emphasized the role of Guelmim-Oued Noun as a hub for renewable energy and its significant contribution to sustainable development. He concluded his speech by encouraging everyone to collaborate to achieve a bright future for the region.

The Chamber also made a presentation on its role in achieving the goals of the new Investment Charter and its active contribution to encouraging investments in the region. The presentation addressed the challenges and opportunities facing investors, focusing on creating a conducive environment for investment and stimulating innovation and economic growth.

The symposium featured an institutional video prepared by the Chamber, highlighting the economic potentials of the Guelmim-Oued Noun region and its promising investment opportunities. The video detailed key economic sectors such as agriculture, fisheries, tourism, and renewable energy, offering insights on how to sustainably exploit these resources to boost economic development.
