Promoting a Culture of Quality to Enhance Competitiveness: Conference in Guelmim-Oued Noun

The Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services of the Guelmim-Oued Noun region, in partnership with the Regional Directorate of Commerce and Industry, the Faculty of Economics and Management of Guelmim, and the General Union of Moroccan Enterprises, organized a conference titled “National Quality Policy for Enhancing Competitiveness” at the headquarters of the Faculty of Economics and Management in Guelmim. This event took place as part of the 23rd edition of the National Quality Week, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.

This conference is part of initiatives aimed at promoting a culture of quality and raising awareness in the Guelmim-Oued Noun region about the National Quality Policy project. The policy was developed through collaborative efforts of committees affiliated with the Higher Council for Standardization, Accreditation, and Conformity, with the goal of strengthening the quality system of businesses in the region and chamber members, including traders and entrepreneurs in the fields of services and industry, as part of a collaborative approach involving all stakeholders.

The event featured valuable presentations on the topic of quality in both the public and private sectors. It underscored the crucial importance of quality across all sectors and encouraged its promotion as a driver of national production and the Moroccan “Made in Morocco” brand.
