Following the tragic earthquake in Al Haouz, which resulted in numerous casualties, injuries, and psychological trauma for the families of the victims, the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, and Services of Morocco extends its heartfelt condolences and solidarity to the families of the victims. Our prayers go out to the martyrs who lost their lives in this tragedy, and we wish a speedy recovery to all the injured.
In response to the royal directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God protect him, aimed at assessing the situation following the earthquake and contributing to mitigating its consequences, in accordance with the provisions of the decree establishing the Fund for Managing the Consequences of the Earthquake, the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, and Services of Morocco announces its allocation of a contribution of four million Moroccan dirhams (4,000,000 MAD) from its budget to support this fund.
This measure is part of our commitment to solidarity with the affected residents of the earthquake-affected areas, with the goal of providing the necessary resources to support those affected and contribute to reconstruction efforts, in line with the calls of His Majesty the King and his blessings.
The Federation also commends the efforts of the public authorities at all levels, under the distinguished leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, in terms of rescue, assistance, psychological and logistical support, as well as the high spirit of solidarity demonstrated by all citizens, civil society organizations, and the Moroccan community abroad.
We pray to God to protect our Sovereign and grant him good health and well-being, and to bless our country with peace, security, and prosperity, as well as all Muslim nations. He is capable of all things, and worthy of our prayers.
