On May 21, 2024, an important meeting was held in the meeting room of the Tan-Tan prefecture to approve the location study for the economic activity zone project in Tan-Tan. The meeting was chaired by the interim governor of His Majesty, attended by the pasha of the city of Tan-Tan, the president of the territorial commune, and the heads of external services related to the project. Also present were Mr. Ahmed Bouchab, treasurer of the chamber, and Mr. Mustapha Marzouq, head of the support and promotion department of the chamber.
During the meeting, the details of the location study were reviewed to ensure the best possible site selection for the creation of the economic activity zone. This zone aims to promote economic development in the Tan-Tan province, create new jobs, and provide modern infrastructure to attract local and foreign investments.
Participants discussed various aspects of the project, including logistical needs, required infrastructure, and potential environmental impacts. Emphasis was placed on the necessity of providing all essential services to ensure the project’s success and make it a major attraction for investors.
