On 4 and 5 March 2019, the house of the elected representative welcomed elected representatives and executives of local authorities and professional chambers from the southern regions of the Kingdom (Laayoune Sakia El Hamra, Guelmim Oued Noun and Dakhla Oued Ed-Dahab) in order to consolidate the principle of cooperation and solidarity between local and national authorities.
The 2011 Constitution provides for the allocation of a set of cooperation mechanisms between representatives of the public and private sectors to achieve their objectives and implement joint projects in accordance with the mechanisms set out in the statutes of each institution.
In order to familiarize oneself with the experience of the elected official’s house in the Marrakech-Safi region, continuous training was organized for the elected staff. The latter received training on the theme: “Public procurement and financial management developments”, conducted and supervised by Hamou Al-Deeb, regional treasurer in Essaouira and researcher in public finance.
